Tomahawk/ Axe & Spear Services
Tomahawk/axe Sharpening
$1 an inch to touching up edge and $2 an inch if grinding out damage or to sharpen a blunt blade
Can sharpen any type of axe including felling axe, splitting maul, tomahawk, pole axe or any other type of axe. Can also sharpen splitting wedges. Edge angle will be 25° per side unless otherwise specified.
Any stock Cold Steel, Condor or Windlass products will cost $2 per inch to sharpen because they come blunt by default. Cold steel & Windlass diamond spontoon hawk will be $4 per inch because they're double edged as well as the spike on a Cold Steel Trench Hawk
Spear Sharpening
$2 an inch to touching up edge and $4 an inch if grinding out damage or sharpening blunt blade
Spear will be sharpened to a 30° angle for a blade without a prominent central ridge and 45° for a blade with a strong central ridge unless another edge angle is specified. Blade can be sharpened to a toothy edge so it cuts paper or to shaving sharpness.
Any Cold Steel, Condor or Windlass products will typically cost $4 per inch to sharpen because they come blunt by default.

Price is dependent on the length you want. Can make tomahawk handles as short as 13" and as long as 30". If there's a length you want that isn't listed email me and we'll see if I can make it.
Turning Tomahawk Into A Fokos

Made to your custom length out of hickory with a tung oil finish.
Burn patterns or engraving is available at an added price.
Handmade Spear Handles
$50-$80 base price
2’-8’ hardwood spear shaft with a tung oil finish. Choices of wood are American red oak (available up to 8' long), poplar (available up to 8' long), tauri also known as Brazilian Oak (available up to 58" long) & Indonesian hardwood (available up to 6' long) for a socket diameter up to 1 1/4". If you have a 1 3/8" socket the maximum length of the shaft available for ash or hickory is 68" at this time and 8' if poplar.
Burn patterns or engraving is available at an added price.

$1 per ring
Rings can be wide, narrow, straight, zig zag or a combination of the above.
Solid Black Burn
$0.50 per inch
Can be used on a section of a handle or the whole thing.
Light Char

Shortening Handle

Shortening or Rounding End Of Handle

On the end of a handle it will often come almost square and if the handle has just been shortened than obviously it will be square. The problem with a squared end in a handle is it isn’t comfortable to hold in that spot and it is more susceptible to damage.

Oil Finishing Handle

Handle is smoothed and then oil finished with several coats of tung oil.
Leather Wrapping Handle

Great way to add extra grip and have quite a bit of spare cordage with the weapon for survival situations.
Stippling Synthetic Handles
$10-$15
Price is dependent on if you have what style of stippling you'd like and how much you'd like. I can do a fine random dot pattern, aggressive random dot pattern or an aggressive sprinkles pattern.
Polishing Tomahawk Or Spear Blades
$6-$18 per inch
Blades can be polished up to a satin finish or up to a mirror.
Bead Blasting Tomahawk, Spear Or Kama Blade
$30
This is a great option for getting rust off a blade, getting a spray paint finish off a blade or if you want to just tone down a very shiny blade.
Coating Tomahawk Head
$50
If you have a tomahawk head that you want a good durable finish on to help prevent rusting this is a good option. Takes 2 weeks for finish to fully cure once applied.
Kydex Axe Sheath
$30-$80
Models available are for the Cold Steel pipe hawk, Cold Steel spike hawk, Cold Steel frontier hawk, Cold Steel trail hawk, Cold Steel diamond spontoon hawk, Cold Steel Norse hawk.
You can send a tomahawk in to have a sheath made as well if the model you have isn't listed.
Leather Tomahawk Sheath

3 layers of 7-8ox leather stitched together. Custom stamping is available.

3 layers of 7-8oz leather stitched together with a reinforcing rivet at the top of the stitching. Custom stamping is available.
Models available are for the Windlass long hewing spear, Windlass European boar spear and Windlass winged viking spear. You can send a spear in to have a sheath made as well if the model you have isn't listed.
Kydex Spear Sheath
