Any Cold Steel, Condor or Windlass products will typically cost $1.50 per inch to sharpen because they come blunt by default. Cold steel, Windlass or any other diamond spontoon hawk that comes blunt will be $3 per inch because they're double edged.

This is a great option for getting rust off a blade, getting a spray paint finish off a blade or if you want to just tone down a very shiny blade.

On the end of a handle it will often come almost square and if the handle has just been shortened than obviously it will be square. The problem with a squared end in a handle is it isn’t comfortable to hold in that spot and it is more susceptible to damage.
