I can customize and repair knives and machetes
Knife will be sharpened to a hair shaving edge. Does not include serrations. I can sharpen all sorts of blades including bowie, karambit, bayonets, hunting/skinning knives, kitchen knives, cleavers and machetes such as bolo, parang, kukri, golok, panga and pretty much any other type of machete. I can also sharpen lawnmower blades.
Knife will be sharpened to a hair shaving edge. Does not include serrations. I sharpen all sorts of double edged blades including daggers, bayonets, smatchet, the clip on a bowie, etc.
Check your local laws before sending your knife for this service, in many states doing this makes the knife a dirk or dagger and is illegal. This can be done on bowie, ka-bar, or any other blade that has a swedge.
Serrations are hand sharpened back to a sharp edge.
If your knife has fine serrations you don't like they can be removed.
If you have a knife with a broken or rounded tip a new point can be ground on. This is just the cost of regrinding the point, ground spot may or may not match the rest of the blade's finish. This is for single edged blades, if you need this done to double edged blades it can be done but will be repaired differently. This is also a great option to shorten a blade if your favorite knife is too long to legally carry where you live.
Jimping can be added to a knife for extra traction on the spine of the blade, parts of the handle, the back or even the lock bar of a folder. Jimping will be 20 lines per inch.
This is great if you have a knife with a rounded spine that you want to be able to strike ferro rods with.
Give a knife a more premier feel with a rounded spine.
Pocket knife will be taken apart, cleaned and contact points polished to make knife open and close more smoothly. I can smooth a lock back, liner lock or frame lock folder. If the lock style you have isn't listed here feel free to send a message and I can answer if I can smooth it or not.
Can not smooth the action on any knife that can't be easily disassembled by way of screws.
Blade is hand polished to either satin or mirror finish depending on what you would like. This can also be done as a way to restore an old beat up knife.
If you have a blade that you want the finish bead blasted off I can do that. It can be done on pretty much any blade. As you can see in the picture its actually done on a kama but it can be done on any blade.
If your knife doesn't have a blade choil one can be easily added. The blade choil will make sharpening easier or the choil could even be made large enough to serve as a finger choil or even as a ferro rod notch.
If there are any sharp spots on a knife handle causing discomfort they can be ground down. This is just the cost of grinding the spot down, ground spot may or may not match the rest of the blades finish.
I can make lanyards any length and as 1 solid color or 2 tone. You can send a knife to have it attached or even have a paracord lanyard attached to something that isn’t a knife.
I can replace the handle scales on a knife or machete with handmade scales. Can make scales out of hardwood, g10, micarta or buffalo horn. If there's a material you'd like that isn't listed send me an email and see if I can use that material (chances are I will be able to). Brass or steel pins are available both in solid pins or tube rivets in case you want to be able to run a lanyard through it.
Lanyard bead made from fired bullet casings that have had the primers drilled out. casing can also be polished. You can choose between 9mm, .45ACP and 7.62x39.
A full tang handle can be drilled for a lanyard hole to give the option of attaching a lanyard.
A sharp blade can be unsharpened to make it into a practice blade. Some do this for a budget practice knife or so they can have a practice knife that is exactly like their sharp knife. You may also want this service if you have children and the blade is just for display. This can be done to any blade you want unsharpened for practice. If you want the tip rounded I can do that as well for no extra cost.
This is a great way to get up to 18’ of 1 single piece of paracord on a knife sheath for survival purposes. Shown in the picture are variations on an M10 scabbard. Can be done with or without extra paracord that can be used as a leg lash. The leg lash with be 5’ when untied. Can be done all as one piece or as 2 pieces as shown in the pictures. Also a great way to make your knife just a little more personalized. Contact me for colors I have in stock.
